Let’s make this clearer.
Surrogacy can bring a lot of information, emotion and decisions into the same season. These answers cover the questions intended parents often carry before reaching out. If yours is not here, that is a good place to begin a conversation.
What is INTNDED?
INTNDED is an independent, peer-based consulting service for intended parents. I offer lived experience, thoughtful perspective and practical support to help you understand the journey, prepare better questions and feel less alone in the details.
Is INTNDED a surrogacy agency?
No. INTNDED is not an agency and does not match intended parents with surrogates, sell a program or represent a provider. The purpose is to give you an informed second set of eyes and a calm place to think through your own path.
Who is INTNDED for?
INTNDED is for intended parents of every family structure, including couples, single parents and LGBTQ+ families. Support may be useful whether you are just beginning to explore surrogacy, already working with a team or preparing to welcome your baby home.
Do you work with families pursuing international surrogacy?
Yes. The guidance is especially shaped around the practical realities of international journeys, including the surrogacy process in Mexico and beyond. Every journey is different, so conversations stay focused on your providers, your timeline, your travel needs and the questions specific to your family.
When is the right time to reach out?
There is no single right moment. You can reach out while comparing options, before choosing a provider, during the process, before traveling, as birth approaches or while preparing for the journey home. You do not need to have a perfect list of questions first.
What can we talk about?
We can talk through the parts that feel unclear or easy to miss: how to prepare for conversations with providers, how to organize documents and timelines, what to consider when planning travel, how to think about temporary housing and what questions may be useful before birth and the return-home process.
Can you help us choose where to stay?
I can help you think through the practical criteria for a stay, such as distance to the clinic or hospital, traffic, airport access, groceries, pharmacies, transportation, privacy, laundry, a kitchen and flexible booking terms. I do not choose a hotel or guarantee a particular neighborhood; the right area depends on your schedule, providers and stage of the journey.
How should we compare areas in Mexico?
Start with the places you will actually need to reach and the travel time between them. A central or tourist area may look appealing, but a quieter residential area may serve you better if it offers easier access to appointments, reliable transportation and space to rest. The best choice is usually the area that makes your daily logistics simpler, not necessarily the one that looks best online.
Can you help us plan travel around appointments and birth?
Yes, from a practical planning perspective. We can map likely trips, build in flexibility for changing dates, think through ground transportation and create a checklist for documents, packing, meals and support. Your medical, legal and administrative professionals remain responsible for the official timeline and instructions.
Can you help us prepare for the first days with baby?
Yes. We can think through where you will sleep, what you may need to purchase locally, how to manage meals and errands, who to contact when questions come up and what you want ready before birth. Preparing these everyday details can give you more room to focus on bonding and recovery.
Can you explain the steps for bringing baby home?
I can help you organize the questions and practical sequence you have been given. The process may include records, registrations, required documents and travel requirements, and the exact steps and timing can vary. Always follow current instructions from your licensed legal, medical and administrative professionals and from official authorities.
Do you provide legal, medical, immigration or financial advice?
No. INTNDED provides peer consulting and informational support based on lived experience. I can help you prepare questions and understand what you need to ask, but licensed professionals and official authorities must advise you on decisions specific to your circumstances.
Do you guarantee a particular outcome or timeline?
No. Surrogacy journeys involve people, providers, medical factors, legal requirements and administrative timelines that can change. I can offer perspective and planning support, but no outcome, match, birth date, document timeline or travel date is guaranteed.
What happens after I reach out?
We start with where you are and what would be most useful now. You can share the questions or situation on your mind, and we can decide whether a conversation is the right fit. The goal is practical clarity—not pressure to choose a service or provider.
What should we bring to a conversation?
Bring whatever feels helpful: a short timeline, a list of providers or professionals involved, travel questions, documents you are trying to understand or simply the concern you keep circling back to. You do not need to prepare a polished brief. A few honest notes are enough.
INTNDED offers peer-based guidance and lived experience for intended parents. This service is not legal, medical, immigration, financial or mental-health advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.
